Show Notes

Did you know that in order to be transformed, you can’t simply try harder?

Although the church many times follows the world’s will-power-infused guide to trying harder, doing more and being better, true transformation comes from an encounter with Jesus Christ.

In His presence, we begin to see ourselves, our situations, and Who He IS from an accurate and unwarped perspective. As we become conformed to His image, we discover FREEDOM and FULFILLMENT. The LIFE ABUNDANT that Jesus promised.

In this casual conversation with friends and pastors Adam and Lexie Molina, Pastor Kristi and Rebecca hear more about their life-changing encounters with Jesus that sparked a passion for His presence.

As Adam said, “One encounter changes everything and multiple encounters keeps everything changed.”

We can’t wait for you to tune in, friends! Prepare for God to encounter you as you listen!

2.14 Dano and Regina McCollam: Simple Steps of Faith

Many of us have spent time thinking about our destiny. Why did God make me? And what are the good works he’s prepared in advance for me to do? Or maybe we know where we’re called, but the task is far too big and we have no idea how to start. Well, then you’re in good company! Join Kristi on the road as she interviews Dano and Regina McCollam and hears how their simple steps of faith and obedience opened the door to their destiny. Throughout this episode, the McCollams share how they often had no idea how to do what God called them to, but they took a small step of faith and God was faithful in return time and again. Likewise, the disciples asked Jesus about the same concept in John 6:28-29: “Then they asked him, ‘What must we do to do the works God requires?’ Jesus answered, ‘The Work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.’” Be encouraged to believe and take a small step today! Episode Highlights Include: “It was a small thing I could do in the direction of my destiny.” Just start moving in the direction of your destiny In response to the fear, “What if nothing happens?” Well nothing’s already what’s happening.
